An existing underused 5 + acre parking lot was repurposed for an outdoor work space/ park like seTting focused on fostering native flora and fauna and connecting employees to the ecological history of the San Francisco Bay. WLW worked with the design team to develop a diverse planting design to restore the existing parking lot closer to what was there historically, before the SF Bay was filled and developed. The project was one of the first SITES certified parks in California.
